how I got started
Kate Just Clicks LLC officially launched on June 17, 2025. This business is my way of living in alignment with what fulfills me most — helping others succeed.
My passion for supporting small businesses started early. I grew up surrounded by entrepreneurs: my mom has run her own law practice for over 30 years, my step-dad started a construction company, and my step-mom built her career as an esthetician. From bookkeeping and fixing QuickBooks to designing my mom’s website, I spent much of my childhood learning the ins and outs of small business ownership.
Throughout school, I discovered I loved exploring many different subjects. In high school, I dove into AP Computer Science and AP Calculus and later attended a vocational program in computer science through Heartlands.
Although I started college as a Computer Science major, I quickly realized I was pulled in different directions. After switching briefly to Biology, I chose to step away from school and focus on supporting myself while continuing to figure out where my true path was.

THE TURNING POINT
Leaving school led me into a difficult season of life. I worked in sales, felt stuck, and went through personal struggles that left me isolated and unmotivated. But eventually, I began rebuilding — moving on from an unhealthy relationship, starting fresh in a new place, and finding work that began to spark joy again.
That spark came when I joined Elevate Outdoor Living, a family-owned business that designs and builds custom outdoor spaces. As their Client Success Coordinator, I wore many hats — from managing client communications to helping redesign their website and even creating 3D design renderings of outdoor spaces.
Elevate became more than just a job. It was a place where I grew in confidence, supported by owners & coworkers who reminded me daily of my value. It was there that my dream of helping others through website design finally began to feel possible.
With the skills, experience, and confidence I’d built, I knew it was time to take the leap. Starting Kate Just Clicks LLC has been the most rewarding step I’ve ever taken.
In just the first few months, I’ve had the privilege of helping amazing clients bring their visions to life online — whether that meant a brand-new website, a refresh of their current one, or simply making it easier for them to manage their digital presence. Watching my clients step into their businesses with renewed confidence is exactly why I do what I do.
For me, this work isn’t just about websites. It’s about connection, authenticity, and empowerment. My goal is always to design websites that feel true to the people behind them — helping small business owners be seen in their best light.
